Medford and Pear Blossums

Spring in Medford means lots of pear blossums. I love it as the valley is covered in a blanket of blossums. The pear fields down near delta waters almost look like they have snow on the ground once the blossums start to fall. This is the orchard next door to Roger and Rozanne’s place. It is beautiful right now. Every year Medford has a parade and festivities called the Pear Blossum Festival. This year, we were actived participants and went to the parade and Brian ran in the race.

Unfortunately, lots of pear trees are being removed in town and vineyards are popping up. Now, don’t get me wrong, I love the look of rolling hills with vineyards, very napa valley-ish, but there is nothing like Medford in the spring. Just picturesque! Pictures of my house are forthcoming as it is in full bloom right now!
